When You Are Away

When you are away everything is with out impediment
The sun rays through clouds abloom
The wind whisper melodies extraordinaire
And rain drops fall granting color to the fields

When you are away music excites my spirit
My words find enlightenment through written poetry
And contemplating art becomes my exercise of truth
As I find inner peace in the sutil movements of my body

Yes, when you are away everything is normal
Nature stands above in royal highness
While miracles are eager to be unveiled
So much joy can be found in sadness

Yes all of this happens when you are away
But when you are here …all of this doesn’t seem to matter
It is only when you are away that I realize
How inferior these wonders are when compared to your laughter.
